He would simply go back to his mom who got deranged after Sovietshoe's mom tried to gift her with the cookie Sovietshoe stole. Tried to kill her after she framed her as the owner of the poisoned cookies. And just after she managed to survive, she was saved by Ergi's father who repeatedly abused her when he knew she was once the beloved concubine of the emperor he hated. She was never in her right mind to take care of Ergi as he's growing up. Ergi would only manage to be with his mom peacefully when she's telling him a story which was actually about her life in the palace as Sovietshoe's father's beloved concubine. Ergi decided to finish the story himself and that's why he was doing what he was doing in this story. Why is he taking revenge against Showershoe instead of his parents? The former emperor only believed Sophiezoo's mom's lies when Sovietshit testified as he was afraid of being found out he was actually the one who stole the cookies that made them infertile. It was because of his lies that Ergi's mom was assassinated by the former empress to cover up the truth and ended up with Ergi's abusive father. Ergi loved his mom despite her being unable to take care of him. He even went to great lengths to finish his mom's story as it was the only time he's seeing his mom "fine". Soviet's mom has been making every concubine of her husband infertile making sure ShoveYourShoe as the sole heir to maintain her empress position. Ergi grew up in misery and so he made sure he'd make Scoobiedu live in misery as well.

That should be enough for everyone to see who hurt her and who's absence affected her emotionally and mentally. I mean look at our girly, her shine is gone and who's the culprit? Dohwa didn't have that impact because there was never room for him in her heart back then sadly. Eunhyuk stans trying to put dohwa in the blame along side eunhyuk is insulting on behalf of suae, put some respect on her grieving emotions caused by her ex-boyfriend.
