Well, he kinda have a point. People aren't telepathic enough to understand what's going on in your head. And the second time, you probably owe him an explanation. No matter how much of a jerk the blond was—he never spoke out loud about his "revenge plans"—the brunette has no moral right to simply throw him out AGAIN
just assuming from context clues, but im pretty sure kang hyun was hurt abt what blondie said in bed during the movie abt not dwelling over the past and moving on to a new person. theres a possibility that blondie is his only ex… so he prob thinks its useless for them to go through it again, not saying its a right but a reason…

Overall, my bet for the continuation of the plot is that another, but completely critical, misundrestanding will occur, when they finally lose control of their feelings, there will be a terrible fight with personal attacks, someone (seme?) will finally trample the pride of the other (uke?), and they will part ways with mutual resentments to the ceiling and beyond. And then they will learn the truth about each other third-hand. Although... Overall, it's uke who seems like a softie, who will cave to the bad character of the little brat as easily as possible because he's older and smarter (because he's a lovesick pushover).
