Let's be honest, without the author's manipulation. Taeyoon is too good a person. A bit (or a lot) of pushover, but only because he's so good and very naively wants to be loved; he's underloved. What happened at school? I don't see anything super-horrible in his behavior, considering his gentleness. The way he encounters human crap time and time again—I genuinely feel sorry for him. And he stays with this asshole only because he's too good a person (with guilt and a conscience) who desperately wants to be loved. Considering, again, his age... oh my God, I want to hug him. I find it incredibly wrong that the girl doesn't know he's her husband's ex. Overall, this whole arc with the second ML is sickening me because of how... not that it's wrong, but it just feels super unnatural, the way their story unfolded, and yet another reminder of it makes me sick. And the fact that they dragged him into the special, too... Why, just why.
