That's how chaotic things can get with our home when we were kids (4 siblings), too. Accidents happen once a week in our house growing up and I'd like to think we were good kids. My older sister was like Shizuka, very responsible. I was sensitive like Minato, and used to cry a lot . And I have awesome memories with my sibs growing up and remain very close even now. It's just chaotic with kids (esp, mornings on school days).
What surprises me is that they don't hire help. My mom was hands on but with 4 kids that were 2 years apart, housekeeping help was needed.
That would be my house too growing up (I also had 3 siblings excluding myself) though I was the only girl so I was by myself more often than not so the chaos was limited to my brothers
