Maaan I love Gakuen Alice so much. Def trying to ignore some of the more problematic age gaps you could tell this was written at a different time. But the messaging! The character development! Im so happy that Hotaru wasn't used as a plot device for Mikan and that Mikan's love for hotaru is so central to the plot and who she is. I wish they could've found Hotaru at the end but Im glad there wasn't just nastume focus
