i was skeptical about this, even tho the art looked really good. the ecchi tag made me hesitate, but this is just really good. the art is phenomenal and the attention to detail in the skewers and the flames!!! i love the scenes of akira perfecting his craft, absolutely beautiful. u never rly think that there’s so much to skewers, but it’s amazing portrayed. i’m also in love with all the bunny girls, they’re so cute and all so supportive!! i was worried that they were copying houka with bad intentions, usually jealously leads to imitation. but in here, they just admire her so much and i think they’re not imitating her in a bad way. they’re good people!! i’m surprised this is listed as a seinen rather than a josei.. might be bc of the fanservice? either way, this is a hidden gem!!!

yooooo he is so toxic but i love this angst, THE DRAMA!! i have no clue how this is gonna go but i genuinely hope she leaves him to prosper on her own with the child… but knowing this genre, probably unlikely. she’s most likely gonna end up forgiving him down the line, perhaps when he ends up risking his life to save her and the child? either way, he’s gonna have to change for them to be happy

am i the only one that genuinely enjoyed the slowness of this? maybe bc im so attached to the characters that i somehow dont want this all to end.. so im very satisfied with how things r going, even if it did feel very dragged out in the middle of things. but i like that they take a while to think about their feelings for each other and that the journey was one that reflected their complex relationship… so much angst, but i loved almost every moment of it
why hello there mr jeong (〃ω〃)
