maybe it was a good idea to erase his memories so he wouldn't blame himself for ryan's death but it was just too sad and painful to see that he doesn't even have good memories of being with ryan....ah
but anyways, i think the series ended beautifully, even tho there were a lot of unanswered questions (like edwin?? where'd he go??) and perhaps the idea of kyon and karis leaving their loved ones could've been prevented......overall, a pretty good series.
