I don't know about other people, but I saw it coming for a while now. I'm always on the lookout for that kind of thing since I don't normally like when romance gets spilled on my action stories.
i reread the entire series from ch 1 to ch 190 specifically looking out for any scenes between huiwon and hyunsung. i kinda expected them to end up together since in all korean action manhwa any two characters off the opposite sex being in the same panel means that theyre going to end up together. however, when rereading every chapter, i was surprised by the lack of chemistry, or even scenes between hyunsung and huiwon. maybe there are more scenes with them together before ch 154 in the novel? it feels very rushed and undeveloped in my opinion.
I haven't read the novel, so I don't know. I do agree that it feels underdeveloped, but I still saw it coming for a while. I'll go back and figure out what chapter it was if you'd like.
