I can not get a read on this manga. Our main character loves his mate. And his mate cares for him. Yet they are not romantic in the least. Our main is not honest about his feelings and his mate seems to talk as if it's a business transaction. We know how much he cares though because he put his mate's heat over business trips. So what lead to this and how are they mates if they are not close?
if you are worried about changing your policy yet seem to be falling in love, tell him something like that you are currently thinking of your own personal policy would it be alright to extend the trial while you work on your own feelings and policies.
