A lot of the times art style changes are so disappointing but honestly I think it suits the tone of the story now. Like before the simpler art style was cute but now it feels more serious now that we’re uncovering more serious parts about Jesse’s story.

In my opinion, Violet Scans are shitty translators, if they even translate themselves. Whom ever is involved seems to use pronouns badly, consistently. Case in point, the chapter I read today: "I" and "She" cannot be swapped for one another if an adult person is talking about themselves (in English). "She" is used for a 3rd person female who is not in the room, "I" is used for the person actually talking when they are talking about themselves.
