I feel so bad for this MC, not bc of the rape (not okay but I do read a lot of toxic bl and hope it gets better), but because he doesn’t think his life is valuable. I understand the orphan bit but what did that old man did to him to make him never overcome that. Hope he didn’t groom him (that’s NOT okay with me). It seems that he was groomed and most likely graped by the father too. The flashbacks showed the young him naked under some sort of fabric where the statue is placed. Also based on his monologue, he used to please his "Master" thru sexual deeds to feel validation that's why he's worried that the father jerked in front of the statue instead doing it with him. Now, he's clinging onto the son because he thinks that his life is on his hands now and if he doesn't please him, he doesn't have the right to live
