Jin is way too fine to be wrapped up in someone like Jian who needs mad help to ever be a functional person
jin is not a good person at all though. chapter 44 touches on that. jin wants for jian to hit absolute rock bottom so that he can "fix him". he's kinda fcked up too lmao.. both of them need geniune help but at least jian has some sort of reason as to why he's so self destructive.
