I know the moral of the story for Urabe is that “ you are not forced to like the person that likes you” but I rooted for Urabe and made me sad. Maybe if he approached more smoothly.

During the novel, looks like the seme forces constantly the MC to have sex with him. And yes, because Uke keeps telling him to stop. But..
At the end it is discovered that the uke had the upper card in the relationship. He knew the origin of the seme since the beginning and could blackmail him or report him as the son of a traitor, but decided to ignore this card and continue the relationship with the seme.
Uke is highly cold blooded, he has punished servants; costantly hitting them, starving them for days and firing them for small mistakes. So the seme is confused why the uke never used his card against him if he is that cold blooded. Also he wondered why the uke punished servants for talking with the seme. Uke tells him that it is because a servant shouldn't be so close to a noble but his reasons are unclear. Seme thinks it is because Uke had some affection.
Also Uke likes the gifts that Seme gave him because they were pretty. The ML personally picked the gifts. But when uke saw the gifts for the seme's fiancee and noticed they were more expensive (even the Top didn't pick them). Uke just throws his own gifts.
I think the MC felt lonely since his mother died and his father was completely indiferent to him. He wanted the seme to be isolated as him. But the seme interpreted everything in another way (he is also crazy).
I think when they started sleeping together, the uke just fell for the seme little by little.
At the end, the seme tells him: "You'll think what you want and I'll think what I want"
At least, at the end, the uke is in better terms with his feeling and accepts he is happy with the seme.
When the uke yells he wants to go away and stay with his father, the seme already knows that uke just doesn't want to study for his exams. I feel they understand each other better.
The author of the novel released a new side story this week. Once I read it, I'll share what happens.
-Uke hates seme because his father shows preference towards him.
-The Seme hates Uke because how bad the uke treated him in the past, so he planned to take his fiancee, position and everything just to annoy him.
-they have a crazy night, after uke gives him the illegal aphrodisiac. Uke spends 3 days in seme’s room because of how rough the sex was. And the ML pretends he doesn’t remember.
-the Father is sick and he is going to travel to another place to recover. Uke asks father to bring him along but seme reacts and suggests to keep the uke in the house. The father agrees with seme.
-Uke returns to his room and Top is invited to a brothel, just to return to his “brother’s room”. He confesses that now he just wants his hyung’s body.
-Seme blackmails uke about the illegal aphrodisiac. The punishment is exile for nobles and execution for the servants. Uke agrees to sleep with him.
-They start sleeping together every night. And MC loses weight because he is bothered about his relationship with the ML, and he is starting to catch feelings and, the ML is going to get married soon and he is accepting wedding gifts.
-Top becomes more obsessive, hires servants to watch the bottom. And Bottom is a tsundere, so he is mean.
-Bottom discovers that Seme is the son of a traitor, whose family was killed, and now a protégée of his father. If he is reported, seme can be executed. Uke decides to hide the proof because he is annoyed by him but doesn’t want him killed. Kind of a relief they are not real brothers.
Uke is more bothered about seme’s wedding. So he runs far away to live in the mountains with his servant, to think about his feelings. He doesn’t want to be in the seme’s wedding.
Seme didn’t want to get married but wanted uke to confess his feelings. That never happens because he is a tsundere.
-After one month of search, the ML finds him, confesses he broke up his engagement and wants to be with the MC. They spend the night together, return to their home and they are happy now.
The circle of the story
1. Show how much Haesoo overworks and suffers
2. Flashbacks of Mincheol and Haesoo
3. Taeha’s intern monologues about Haesoo and Mincheol, and just being there looking.
4. Haesoo being insecure and overthinking
5. Multiple scenes of Mincheol fucking with Ari
6. Random extra girls thirsting for Taeha
7. Repeat step 1 to step 7
At least we are not having more fillers scenes of Mincheol fucking Ari. Of all the types of story fillers, that one drives me insane.

Novel is similar to toxin and paper flower, but this ML is a tad likeable, not like a madman like the others. He treats the MC well most of the time, except when he ran away.
The MC is just an unfortunate soul who is a victim and had bad luck, he actually did nothing, just stayed there and all the problems came to him.
The ML is red flag
Yes, he is a psychopath
Yes, he commits genocide
Yes, he kills 2 likeable characters. I cried so much. Or maybe he didn’t? Lol spoiler

Yes, he is a bad person.
He tried to kill the MC more than once.
Most of the time he protects the MC. At least the first half of the novel, he is kind of normal, respects the mc and asks for his consent, talks harshly but if I have to compare him with other black flag MLs, probably he is the lesser black flag.
I recommend the novel, I wasn’t as angry as I thought I would be or maybe I just dissociated.
Or maybe reading the novel To my Dear horror, put the rest of the MLs in a better ranking.

Read the novel long time ago and just caught up with the webtoon. And I have tried to like the members, but I just can’t. It is not fully their fault but I just get annoyed by them. Yep, hate them
I ship Hajin with OG Sihyeon. They look so cute together when they have their imaginary moments in highschool. I wish they have met and Hajin the only one that cared. Love him.

This is horrible. The novel is horrible
Bottom tries to fight at the beginning, later he is just resigned. I dropped the novel because the comments say the bottom is clinging after. I have read like 30 chapters from the novel and the top is expressionless, humilliates the bottom emotionally. The bottom gets bleached poisoned and the top just sends his servants to take him without being worried, no love, no regret. He just sees him as an object. One of the worst things I have read.
The author is actually fast, I followed her work DCS since the beginning and she delivered a weekly episode with no hiatus. And there was a gap of just 3 months between seasons. But I think she needs to rest now. I don’t mind waiting a year.
