I never took it as him leading kang joon on. He could barely remember him when they first met again and over time after hanging out with him more he started to remember him and his feelings started to evolve and he couldn’t understand and honestly couldn’t except it. He’s now realized and excepted that he does indeed like and/or love kang joon and wants to be with him.
