like plotless porn is referenced negatively in all of the comments here that reference it but I've seen it in yaoi comment sections and they find it funny and admit they like it
and if you're not after sex in your manga, don't read the smut tag? if you don't like it either formulate a proper critic on it or accept you're not the target market segment
Ntm on yaoi readers including myself. Porn with plot is low key funny when the plot is ridiculous and there’s a comedy tag present. In this case there’s no comedy, instead there’s tons of drama which makes it a little overwhelming and it overall seems rushed, as if all the effort went into the art (which is gorgeous) and the plot was written on a napkin or smth

this has really envigored me, here are some of the notes I made while reading: (maybe I'll read it a couple more times (does that count as SH lol) and write a more formal thingy)
-if it were me writing this I'd make him (Miki) anorexic
-i don't like how it seems the author wants us to like him now... the author did a good job at making the skin crawl
-We haven't seen the love for Itsuki, we've only seen it from Mike's perspective. initially it was believable, but as the story's progressed we've seen all the love for Miki while Itsuki has been sidelined - this causes the reader to doubt the word. what's been shown is more believable than what is told.
-it'd be better if the story was told entirely from the perspective of Miki, or at lest by those who love him. I feel that kazuya shouldn't be given a voice, if the mangaka isn't to use dramatic irony, he should be equally an enigma to Miki and the readers - so as to feel his at-a-loss feeling. The mangaka hasn't put the same thought and time as Lolita's writer into his perspective so it doesn't land - and it is obvious the mangaka has a different view on predatory behaviour than Nabakov

although the characters have the big-boobed thin-waist thick-thighs design, you can see from a glance it's not drawn the same way as, for say, a shone manga.
I don't know so much about this author but it feels like something made by a woman, whether they are or not, that's why it's popular
