The main characters are nicer than me with how they reacted when that girl starting saying her sob story. That’s all I’m gonna say. If I say more I might end up offending someone.

Mc is completely valid in his reaction. Finding out the people you’ve been meeting have been secretly orchestrated by ur friend is genuinely very creepy and weird. And that lame ass “you looked lonely” excuse be so serious! I’d be annoyed and frustrated. Like first you do this creepy serial killer type shit. Then you wanna make up but don’t wanna tell the reason for ur actions?
Mc is a mess but it’s understandable. He’s in both physical and mental pain. How many times has he woken up in the hospital? He had suicidal thoughts. And he quite literally has a time limit until he turns into a vegetable (such a cruel fate). I don’t blame him for being all over the place trying to survive.

Honestly, ml didn’t seem to be too work focused. I think I can handle his type. It’s actually really cute, how passionate he is about his work. Maybe he acts differently around mc tho (he probably tries not to talk about his work too much).
I gotta agree with mc. I love the thought of a godlike person. A divine being who’s perfect (in the eyes of everyone else) but so very flawed. I wonder why she doesn’t the like the idea.

I just genuinely find it annoying when a character is bad at sex but act like it’s their partner’s fault. Like how hard is it to understand that it’s ur fault (you’re a selfish asshole) that he isn’t enjoying himself/feels pain during sex

Genuinely can’t bring myself to empathize with people like her. Like yeah people change but that doesn’t automatically erase their actions or the effects it has. As someone who has dealt with bullying due to my race and have had people say homophobic stuff right to my face. I just can’t get myself to like these people in fiction or in real life. But I can be glad that the main characters won’t have to deal with that annoying shit from her anymore tho.
