Why do I feel like that Father was also trying to be his lover(more like he also wanted to be immortal like him)and was kind of toxic but Asha didn't like him so then he wanted revenge so he told his son to kill him(who I think is coincidentally reincarnation of Asha's lover).hence father is the real villain.
