Meanwhile, my theory about this new Kiriki is that he’s also a reincarnation just like Gozu. And when he landed he replaced old Kiriki who didn’t want to be the priestess (they did say a few chanpters back that she ran away). Methinks he either wants to defeat the demon king OR he’s like Gozu and obsessed with the underdog, which would cause a problem when he tries to take Eve from Gozu. That’s my theory. I really do think he’s a reincarnation too. And him replacing Kiriki is the bigger reason behind a lot of the storyline deviations.
I totally agree, because did wasn’t really showing that he was gonna awaken any time soon so he must be a reincarnated character but I do see him trying to steal eve from him but let’s face Eve would literally end the world if Gozu said it

So it looks like since crazy ML cut the string when they were younger, the gangster’s side of the romantic attachment never formed even though he still wanted to be around him, but MC still fell for him like he should’ve. But I guess gangster fell for his brother instead. I’m upset now. They look like they would’ve been A REALLY GOOD COUPLE. ╥﹏╥ （/TДT)/
if webtoon authors werent so predictable they could have ended up together with the ML being a crazy ex, that would have been interesting.
