A lot of horrible people in real life have had bad lives, and I think we can sympathize with the circumstances, not the actions because many others have also had horrible life experiences and not turn out to be awful human beings.
That being said, i don’t feel sympathy for Daewoo. He made up the stories in his head all by himself. It was not like Joon led him on, ever. I feel bad for Joon. He’s a “devil”, but he’s actually the good guy. Hoping other devil gets there in time to save him from the worst part.
