Haven’t had a story hook me like this one in a long time. It was so beautiful and perfect. The angst. The mutual longing. The pining. Ugh. Such a complex story about trauma and how that affects everything in life. The tragedy of not communicating your feelings, the what ifs. It was so good. Kudos to another commenter for recommending listening to piano music, it really added to the reading experience. More like this story pls.

I really do think that they are in an unspoken/unofficial Dom/Sub relationship. I feel like Sooyoung has used punishment as a means to feel better or to “not feel” before too. And he’s told ML before that he likes it rough and likes to be punished so it makes sense for him to want that feeling when he made a big mistake. I think it’s okay for him to make himself feel better this way and regulate himself, he’s always been a bit of masochist.

One of my favorite tropes is when alphas mark and shower Betas with their scent and the Beta is totally unaware. We can have such a cute BetaxAlphs story, but no. ); I’d be okay with a late blooming Omegs rather than him force converting him.

Oh this was GOODDDDDDD. Ugh the way I would read this again if the author decided to make it a longer, more fleshed out story. But I’m not complaining one bit cause it was good as it is!
I may be in the minority here but the ML gives me some serious psycho vibes. Not saying he’s a black flag at all, I’m talking green vibe psycho vibes. The kind where they have no moral compass but would do everything for their person. I read another apocalyptic BL with a ML like that and this is what it reminds me of.
Especially with the Doctor warning him to just say his a teacher. I’m sure in future chapters we’ll see how unhinged he is.
