I would really love to read this but the grandma's personality is really putting me off. The fighting is getting repetitive and not moving much along. Can someone tell me if things get better in the later chapters? Like less fighting and more understanding?

Does the fighting become less? Cause that's the part that's slowly grating on my nerves. I know they will fall back in love but I would like to know around what chapters it truly starts. I may just skip to that part.
There's still some fighting, but they slowly start to get along. From what I know, there are still a lot of chapters until the end so I expect a slow love story.
Once you get to how they meet and stuff and the "sad backstory" you start to understand

They made a deal.He never promised to be nice to DG but the latter agreed and he still tolerated everything and didn't leave sooner.And he lied to Jiwon and he had plenty of chances to talk to him about his feelings but instead he chose to get drunk and almost ruin Jiwons career and his personal life by exposing him publicly.

Jiwon’s past is no excuse for his shitty personality. In order to truly feel bad that his parents suck you actually have to like the character. That’s not the case with Jiwon. Deal or no deal Jiwon still treated DG like crap. Rational healthy humans don’t like being treated like that. So people wanting Jiwon to see the error of his way will include a bit of suffering on Jiwon’s part.
On any other day, I would reply to such an ignorant, obnoxious, presumptuous wall of drivel, but seeing as how someone has replied to you already, I will just agree with them and move along.

We all make mistakes and I believe since his revelation, he can turn things around. He's only human.
And many ppl always hurt those that love them rather than those who don't. It's just sad that the love he so desperately wanted to latch onto to, is something he's afraid of. It's like being stuck and not knowing whether to walk forward or backward.

I recall something like that. My memory isn't the best. Everyone is naively in love at some point in their life though, it happens to us all. I think if Alex knew then. he should be more understanding to DGs woes and possibly could have realized sooner but yea.
