Absolutely no romantic build. They go from long distance writing between two children to him using a bunch of resources on petty things "just to see her smile." Then he does the cringe kiss the hair thing when she's unconscious and can't consent. Done! Drop!
There is no way end goal is the Crown Prince like it was rumored, he is truly awful. And she clearly still has a hing for Roger. Now I want her to leave the game entirely but if Roger is end goal I'm here for it too. What a nasty piece of work he is.
I found this entire ball to boring, immature, and pointless. She can't really GAF about being the queen of the ball full of people she doesn't respect. It's also roll-my-eyes bad that they crowned the duke, someone who has already graduated. Imagine if they'd crowned a full blown adult graduated two years before as the local prom king. I'm ready for the North and some real revenge now, please and thank you.
Roger is my favorite but I legitimately want her to go home she's not even from here, guys, and no implication of death of her real body occured.

I liked the toxicity at the beginning but then it just sort of became like any other romance story once they were honest with each other. Their romance seems mostly like lust as well, because I don't think they ever had honest heart to hearts before that point. Oh well.
That wasn't an ending, that was a summary. They didn't even date, she just decided she was in love with him at the last second. Lame. Can't recommend this for romance, that's for sure. Could recommend for the brother interactions

hmm... I can't really judge on it since the scene did not take as long, he might have given up and just let her do whatever she wants while he pouts in the corner, that's what I was hoping the scene would become though xD
Jerome's actions made my skin crawl. Like he thinks they're meant to be and refuses to accept she doesn't agree-- but not like violently? Yet anyway! Has the makings of a yandere same as Mikhail to be honest!
