I’m sorry, but did we read the same story? Sure, the MC didn’t go about this the right way, however she almost killed herself multiple times to cure the ML’s curse despite dying herself, also the MC didn’t abandon Doha neither. He literally told her to leave before he did something that he would regret. It was probably for the best because Doha isn’t the most sane person.
One of the best characters in this story...
