I think it’s because of the art style. People aren’t use to is, it kinda suit the story style but it too different ( ahah talk about an lgbt who is supposed to be open minded ) well sometimes the art can bring you out of the story.
i love unique art styles, they're so refreshing! i hope others would try to explore too
