I don't think they should be dating, because no matter how much Keisuke says he understands that is Akane no Mei that would still be a blurry line. And by staying with Keisuke, Akane would be constantly be reminded of Mei and his loss.
Yeeaahh, I think Akane is the one who needs out of this relationship the most. They should just separate, figure themselves out, then go from there.
It is like both are hanging on to this relationship for saving themselves. Akane is being mei so that he can forget that he killed mei and in a way is like atonement for him, whiel keisuke feels like he is with Mei when he looks at akane.

Marriage between cousins are very common in many countries across the world. Not to be rude, but it's mostly Americans that have a really large problem with it. (that's how it's portrayed in social media. I'm sorry if I'm wrong!)
Not only americans, it’s not very common in most countries as it can be really unhealthy for the lineage when children are born from 2 close family members
As far as I know Marriage between cousins isn't that common anymore xD children born from incest do have a lot more chances of having certain disabilities and such.
Aside from that marriage between relatives was a thing some time ago to "preserve" the lineage or something xD
He explained at the start that their families would marry each other for centuries to preserve their powers so I guess that they could even be first cousins but it's not like they'd give a sh!t or two about it
