Cannot believe the author is creating a new conflict RIGHT AFTER the drama of chapter 56. Like theres so much tension for such a long time and then finally coming back to the present is just more tension ( T n T )

Idk why but I really love the extended flashback, it’s a really interesting and weird dynamic they both have and it gives the modern events context. Im excited to see how it develops
