They downplayed his trauma in the manhwa and removed a lot of scenes from thr novel. In world 2, he approached Kloff because he couldn’t believe that Kloff was willing to let Rapiel go. Aeroc felt like he was going crazy.. he should have just cut off the guy.. but he had to scold Kloff for breaking up with Rapiel… leading to this.
Aeroc.. honestly tried rejecting him.. but it was fear that made him stay. Kloff tortured him to the point he just complies to anything he says.. it’s sad. Kloff is really the one messed up for me. He wouldn’t take no for an answer. He realized he was imprinted on Aeroc, if he didn’t have him.. he’ll go insane or die (he did cough a lot of blood). So, to survive.. he coerces Aeroc into a relationship.
Season 1. Aeroc’s mistake was allowing Kloff to drag him into his mind games. He knew Aeroc liked him, instead of prioritizing his wife, he used Rapiel to create this elaborate game to make Aeroc react. He described his marriage to Rapiel in world 2, it would be so boring and peaceful. It was so boring and peaceful.. he had to do all of that. Aeroc’s wrong for what he did.. but Kloff.. he was the worst. He never loved Rapiel that’s why he’s sad.. he finally killed the one he wanted. He was so ashamed of his feelings for Aeroc, he punishes him to make himself feel better. I wish the story focused after Aeroc’s death.. instead of bringing them back together. The imprint is more of a prison sentence than a love story (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
