Yunjae only gets a temporary, shaky pass from me bc he's a dumb kid. If this goes on into college and he still keeps acting like this...booboo not everybody's gonna like you, and once it gets out that you're a manipulative dick (regardless of your reasoning), you really won't be liked by anyone. I feel bad for Hanjun on multiple levels. Tbh I ship Hanjun and Jinhwan lol, they're cute together. Go get over your impossible crushes with each other.

It's called 'a terrible romance' what did everyone expect lmao
I think people are being VERY SLIGHTLY unnecessarily harsh to MC/uke. Hear me out. He was imprisoned, abused (in every possible way: physically, sexually, emotionally, financially, mentally), and conditioned (brainwashed) by the black-haired dude. That will *fuck you up.* If we're going by realistic standards, real people that sort of shit happens to generally don't make it. If you get my drift. Or they're mentally fucked for life.
So it's a bit more nuanced than just 'uke's trash' bc he probably isn't even in his right mind. Black hair needs to be run over by several trucks though, and I agree that Taehwan deserves better.
But, seeing as how it's called 'a terrible romance' I'm going to bet things are going to get stupider.

Uke is a trash partner, that can’t be denied. But he isn’t a trash person. There’s a difference. He prioritized Taehwan not knowing over being honest with him, there’s no excuse for that.
He was imprisoned? I don’t remember that, sorry it’s been a while since I read this. What chapter was he imprisoned?
And yeah the title makes sense as you said. But people are still free to express how they feel about the uke. He’s trash but he’s also mentally ill so I can’t HATE him, I was in the same situation as him before. The only thing that made him trash was when he went over to Minho’s house.
Also he was not blackmailed or even called over to his house. He went there willingly. There’s no sign of him being brainwashed to go there. His cheating is completely unjustified as Taehwan did absolutely nothing wrong.
Cheating is a big deal and people will say things in the heat of moment. The moment you fuck up, you should expect others to dislike what you did. His trauma is no excuse for this cheating.

Also to add, Woojin went out of contact with Minho so there’s no way Minho has been brainwashing him to believe stuff or get him to go over. Him going over to his house was HIS CHOICE. He was not brainwashed.
This is why, please fix your issues or you can’t build a stable relationship. I heard Taehwan understood after knowing about Woojin’s situation, he’s truly a green flag.
I hope Woojin treasures him. And taehwan teaches him what love truly is, not what Minho wired his brain to think. Minho is ass garbage

Sorry last one haha: The 2nd ML blackmailed to tell ML. But the bottom made the choice to keep it a secret and continue seeing the 2nd ML, had he denied the sex with 2nd ML and told ML the truth despite his fear of being left by ML, it would’ve been less painful for ML.
Telling the truth is hard but at the end of the day, you’re just hurting the other person with your choices you made and the messy situation you got yourself into.
If he was being threatened to be killed by Minho, then I would’ve understood his reasons to hide the truth from ML. But Minho only threatens to tell ML about the cheating and MC made the CHOICE to hide it.
Firstly and most importantly I would die and kill to protect Youngjin's smile. (me and Seunghyun both)
That out of the way.
Secondly, it can't be understated how good this is. Just the right amount of drama/angst, a MC who isn't a total pushover, and a ML who is ruthless -but only against the people who deserve it-. His gentle protectiveness over Youngjin and the trust between them is SO refreshing. The art is spectacular, the overall intrigue was well done, the smut is good, even the side characters are memorable, and S3 being literally nothing but fluff just healed my soul.
My only issues with this manhwa are mostly nitpicky. It starts out slow so if you're confused, stick with it. Most questions get answered by the end. I wished there was more solid worldbuilding about some of the scifi aspects of things (nanobots just thrown in there huh, and why can Youngjin's ace in the hole levitate things??), the reveal of what the 'item' was was honestly a bit underwhelming, but I get that a lot of those things are probably just due to the stricture of time and chapter/season length.
Seriously though, a must-read.
