The way he's written is confusing to me. My instinct is to say that he's aromantic but that obviously can't be the case given that he's the ML of a romance storyline. Do people act like he does? Of course. but there's way more self-denial or thought involved and since we can see his thoughts he just comes across as having such an alarming lack of self-awareness that it seems to contrast with the other parts of his character
the whole "I want to be around him all the time and I like him as a person but that's too minor to start dating" thing irked the shit out of me

I love kyuho and overall this is a great and refreshing story in a lot of ways but the ML at this point is just incomprehensible to me
