I actually really like this but I do hope the author doesn't drag it out with the little blonde shit for too long or it'll get annoying. it's a great example of something we don't see a lot in BL/manhwa: a self-aware MC who knows his crush is toxic but can't stop himself from liking them. bc that's some real shit man. you just have to find your own way out, getting sick of being treated like shit, and that happens at its own pace for every person. if only emotions could just be turned on and off like a light switch, life would be so much easier
also for people who keep saying mc is a doormat or whatever
the blonde guy is actively manipulating him and has been doing so for ten years, since they were teenagers together. it's not that easy to escape that kind of a relationship bc sometimes it's good, and the blonde guy knows that. he'll intentionally feed the MC good times to keep him under his thumb, it's textbook abuse even tho they're not in a relationship. (you can be abused by friends)
REAL Ive had a toxic friendship before and it really is so hard to leave it, everyone recognizes an abusive relationship but friendships go under the carpet. That’s why I can’t fault the MC that much, it must be even harder with having romantic feelings for them too. Sure as hell was hard to even recognize my friend was being a POS and not “playfully insulting” me, at least he has the first step down, he just needs to build a support system and I really hope the brother can be that but we’ll see

Tak and Sanho (from Stranger than friends) are the story's side couple which I liked more than the main one. It's basically a stoic guy (seme) × screamy guy (uke) who are friends since middle school tho they sometimes don't see eye-to-eye. Enjoyed their story but I understand the ppl who didn't like it
