I'm really glad Jihwan seems to be aware that he's teetering on the edge of going down the wrong path and that he fucked up, and it's good that he left Sooyoung alone for all that time, but there's no way in hell it ends there. He didn't even try to apologize so he's probably cooking up some even more manipulative shit behind the scenes. idk man. this could be really good, but the author would have to be a genuis to pull it out of 'Even If You Don't Love Me' territory

It's such turn off. Idk why rape has to be pulled like some kind of 'plot twist' or whatever, especially when characters are quite normal and there's no sign they'll do something so awful. Mophead had guilty consciousness about kissing (and masturbating while looking at) the mc because he thought mc is minor after seeing him in school uniform . Than just out of the blue he assault him and it's justified by Mophead's intention to push mc away since it became to dangerous to keep him around after mc opened the basement door.
Of course we saw he's just acting nice towards the 'kid' and he's definitely capable of a lot of not so nice things, but I think him being nice to mc is genuine so why tf the author had to go with the rape card?
I'm also sure Mophead isn't a gangster, he's probably undercover cop as many suspects (he really looks like the cop brother of ml from author's another story). Ofc that can be totally wrong.
considering mophead is a character that was briefly shown at the end of the author's other work, "Lust (ryuha)" as the ML's brother, (and ML is, iirc, some kind of investigator or lawyer or something to do with the law) and he kinda comes in to save the day, I think you're right more than anything. He's def not your average gangster: if not an undercover agent, then an independent operative of some kind. I've read everything this author has put out that I can find and they generally write very healthy MLs so this was a HUGE shock to me and I'm really kinda pissed about it. Everything was *so perfect* in this story so far. There was *literally no reason* to put rape in.
