Yeah it's very cliche and didn't do anything too new, I was also not fond of the start but the ending was good and I liked that there was conflict without taking it too far and not an unreasonable amount of sex scenes. like, its pretty realistic in that aspect compared to some other series. The art is also easy on the eyes, I've read way worse.

I love these kinds of stories where two people get into a relationship that neither of them can label and then they get into all sorts of weird situations
Most of hese stories are supposed to be morally ambiguous and leave you thinking "should I have liked this?", especially the first one. I personally liked it even though I usually don't like incest, depends on the dynamic. I think if you interact with it as a fictional story, keeping that distance and knowing full well incest is a controversial topic, then it's fine
Asada's said on her Twitter she loves making her characters suffer and hell let her do it if it means we get these amazing stories.
There's something about the moral ambiguity (most common theme in her stories) and how their relationship starts off, it's all so insane I love it. I can't help but hope things end well for Mayumi and Hitoshi.
Funny how a few years ago I couldn't comprehend people calling babies cute and now I kept smiling and giggling to myself reading this. I've taken care of kids more than the average person my age so relating to some moments and seeing new perspectives was fun and another step away from that time I used to say I hate kids haha
