It’s absolutely nice to read his thoughts here in the manhwa. We get almost to none of his POV and I mean like inner thoughts and commentary in the novel T_T the manhwa shows his human side better than the novel. In the novel it’s literally like he wants everyone dead but Abel especially around middle to close end of the story. It’s hard to figure out his feelings and thoughts at every scene. Novel Karas feels like he doesn’t give a shit about anything (except Abel) and wouldn’t give them a thought since they can just all die, like all his actions are firmly calculated without doubts….. But here we see him thinking “maybe this maybe that” “what if this and that” IT’S JUST SO GOOD ヾ(☆▽☆) it shows despite him having dragon powers and personality, he is still human too.
I’m gonna let this marinate or decompose idk cuz that shit pissed me off like mf just did all that shit and left him there like a dead fish.

I find it funny and cool at the same time that the reason the story is even progressing “longer” is literally only because the dragon ML doesn’t wanna get bored xD literally he could end everyone standing in his way with no effort (y’all know why at the end) but he said it’s not fun and it’s boring for him, so he’s giving his enemies a chance and giving himself a handicap so it’s a little fun hahahaha he is a mastermind ╮(￣▽￣)╭ they’re all playing at the palm of his hand……except for Abel, he is the only one he didn’t consider and is not included in his masterplan, and the only one he will never use as a pawn in this game he made.
Finished the novel months ago and I was still not expecting the plot twist with the poison and their past (￣∇￣") the author did really well making me feel on edge and I literally couldn’t figure it out until it was revealed.

It’s the Duke Truyde’s blood lmao. The past was a bit complicated because I think the ancestors of the duke actually like the dragon monarch, not regas. But they could never have the dragon because the drahon only loves their regas. The reason why Truyde’s blood (and his father and so on) are so poisonous is becauseeeeeee……..they eat the previous dragon kings (￣ε(#￣)Σ yup disgusting huh. The very first ones was actually obsessed with the king that he ate the king (obsession) and thus their blood became poison. They used the blood to control the dragon kings so it went on for generations but it’s an information only passed down to the heir.
Also the very first dragon and its regas was so fcking adorable it’s bittersweet tho, you’ll see them soon. The wooden pendants actually came from the first dragon as a gift to his regas so he wouldn’t miss him too much when he’s dead because the pendant can summon him or make him see the past of them together or something T_T but it has a limit and the regas want more just in case so the dragon made two ╮(￣▽￣)╭. The other pendant is with the other guy from the council the marquis.
