There are other ways to keep him safe and maybe actually work with him without all that “pretend to be a stupid policeman who’s horny for me” strategy? And hurting him so he doesn’t get hurt by others? Till the end he doesn’t even actually pursue or chase the MC because as usual MC is doing all the chasing from start to finish. He’s doing his best for the mission but he’s also fcking annoying with his push and pull attitude.
MC keeps fucking chasing like a dog no matter how many times he gets abandoned or told to fuck off. He understands ML is doing it for his job but maybe the best solution isn’t to keep showing up by his side without a solid plan and becoming a potential target and an extra headache for him to worry? I feel like ML keeps getting hurt more and more ever since he appeared and ruined the flow of his mission, juggling doing his mission while protecting his uncooperative ass. Like their plan together as so shit it feels like it was just made up so they can start fucking each other. At least finally he actually did something at the end. But it was incredibly anticlimactic and rushed I feel like I wasted time reading this.
