It is more romantic when Chase got kidnapped and got hit by his kidnapper. When Josh came to the rescue and noticed Chase’s bruised face he asked who hit him and like a child without words he pointed at one of the kidnappers who is laying on the floor and Josh without words got up and slammed the head of the kidnapper who hit Chase. Then he kick and battered the hell out of the kidnapper till he passed out. His team mates had to restrain him just so he wouldn’t end up killing the guy. It was Josh who would proposed to Chase. Also to ease Chase’s jealousy he also proposed to mark him which means that Josh will not be able to mark anyone else after he marks Chase. But Chase is suicidal, we just thought that his arrogance is just because he has bad temper but he’s actually depressed and suicidal. Even after he has Josh, there was an event where a chance opened up and without hesitation he pulled the trigger to his head. Good thing Josh was able to push the gun away from Chase’s head. He asked why Chase still wants to kill himself? Chase begged Josh to not leave him, to stay with him and not got back together with the other parent of Josh’s child. Then Josh said he won’t leave him and it is time for Chase to meet his child. Chase met Petter so there was an incident (Just find out for yourself) then Josh asked why did Chase save his son Petter and Chase said it is because Petter is Josh’s child. Taken aback with Chase’s answer. Josh told Chase that he is your son too. Petter is my and your child. Then he told what happened and the marking and said “Marry me Chase.” I will make you happy forever.

Angel was kidnapped, sold and abused by 5 dominant alphas ( it needs 5 to controle a dominant omega, because they can use their pheromones against dominant alphas). Forced to bear them offspring, was not allowed to have contact to his children. When he tried to run away they physically hurt him.
So it's not surprising that Angel is not acting "normal".
And Keith is aware of it, so probably just goes along.

I read it some time ago, years ago aside from some side stories.
I remember that Keith is not allowed to have contact with Angel as a child, and he saw Angel was locked up and that they broke his legs. That I remember without re reading.
I think it was a also mentioned there that Angels is kept by 5 dominant alphas.
At least one of Keith half sibings (Hayden) makes an appearence in the side stories, not sure if another was only mentioned or appeared.
Angel appeared in the Lick me up if you can, the story of the Miller parents Ashley and Koi. There he ran away, was accused of sleeping around and when they caught him they hit him brutally.
The author also gave some information about the novel she planned for Angel. They mentioned that a family friend found out that he was a dominant omega, kidnapped him and sold him to 5 dominant alpha families. And that that novel would be about revenge.
