I already reading that but for me the storyline is still a mess. Like I don't get it, we're they in the game forever?

It's cus they skipped a whole bunch of exposition/world building from the novel. Basicallt a whole volume was thrown out to get right to the fucking. It's one of those where you have to read the novel to get all the context. It's just too bad the novel is MTL and no translation exists.

Walk with me please

1. MC is the King? How? And why the bully is the grand Duke? I thought all other people in his kingdom are NPC.

2. MC plays as king and made his kingdom rises to above then leave?

3. And then he comes back?

4. What I don't get is it show panels where MC has played this before then suddenly first chapter he got in? So did he got out or?

5. So is this MC plays beta > get achievement of leveling people who loves him? > Bully hates him > stop playing games > game release > isekai-ed > run away from his kingdom? > chapter 1 happens?

Timeline is basically this
MC picks up the game and plays the beta>>awakens as a celestial but they're weak>>MC died a few times cus their race/kingdom is weak>>his commitment to the kingdom warms his vassals heart and they eventually returns his affection>>MC is sad that his vassals keep dying, he doesn't want to see them hurting>>uses race change potion he found in the tower(i believe in the novel he uses it on the duke first)>>Duke, Vassals and all of the citizens of his kingdom changed race but the pain they went through during the transformation made them resent the MC and their likeability basically DROPED>>all emotions of the vassals and citizens transfer back to Duke so his pain during the transformation was multiplied thousands of times while during when they resented MC, it transferred back to him too>>MC worked hard to gain back the trust and love of his vassals/citizens and to also prove his worth to the duke, he was succesful>>his hardwork resulted to his kingdom climbing the ranks. The rank is based on their progress on the tower, MC's kingdom was on the lead of the tower progress. It also meant his kingdom was flourishing>>after that hardwork, MC goes to check Duke's likeability, in the novel, he did this 3 times each time he did a redo when he died. It's basically to gouge what the Duke felt, it's just that, after all the emotions that MC poured out when raising the kingdom, the Duke's answer to MC's final check of his likeability legit reeled him>>MC quits the game for believe a year or maybe half a year???>>Game announces beta is over and launching the game officially, MC is hesitant to pick up the game again but it sucks him inside the world anyways, condition to be dragged into the game is basically anyone who finished their character creation so even newbies who basically had no experience also got dragged in>>MC and players wake up in a white room and meets the "guide" which i liked to call game master, he summoms portals leading to each players' kingdoms>>eggs on players to take the first step, pompous player tells everyone they're chicken and goes first. Everyone sees him getting slaughtered by his duke and vassals due to tyranny>>Game Master jokes and says that those who ruled their kingdom negatively in anyway may face the same fate, players can go and face the problem they created, run away or even stay in the white room where they can basically turn into nothing if they stay too long>>MC remembers what he did to his duke, vassals and citizen(the race changing potion btw) and his Duke's last words with him during the likeability check and decides to run away from his kingdom, he's not YET ready to face his people and the duke>>groups up with a bunch of korean players and monkey dude takes the lead and started a kingdom where the players can come in as residents, MC, Glasses dude, Shark guy and the little kid opts out and comes in as some sort of secondary citizens/refugees of sort where they ha e the privildge of leaving the kingdom with the king's permission>>HUUUUUUGGGEEE exposition happens, Game mechanics, Tower mechanics, character interaction, side character personalities explored, MC basically forming close bonds with the little kid, glasses, shark guy, monkey dude, a side character that got deleted in the webtoon cus content ended up getting skipped in favour of the smutt. There's more stuff that happened during this arc but that would be a lot to type>>skipping some details and going straight near to where chaoter 1 ended at, Grand Duke and vassals of the monkey guy revolted and took away his authority, players who ran away during the revolt got killed and those who chose to stay got thrown under house arrest along with the king>>grace period for their kingdom lifted, the shields are up and they're now visible in the mal to other kingdoms>>they got invaded right away by someone from a snake kingdom, monkey guys gets obliterated, MC's Duke came in last minute to save the day>>well, he's actually there to take back MC cus the shields are shields are now off and Grand Dukes have the ability to basically track down their kings>>Duke takes MC back to the kingdom, MC agrees but on the comdition that they take all of the remaining players left in the monkey village back to their kingdom. Duke agrees and here we are.


Some points i should leave, due to how the plot was changed, glasses dude's return to his kingdom and confrontation of his duke actually happened during the deleted arc i mentioned above. MC and glasses guy were frenemies that basically bonded over their dukes being crazy and their doomed fate when they return to their kingdom and MC is a good guy so as we saw in the recent chapters, he goes to find and somehow rescue glasses dude. Shark guy tags along cus way before this happened, MC suffered A WHOLE BUNCH, like basically almost dying from a boss level monster(he was being a badass killing monsters ok, he's not a wimp like the webtoon version) and overdosing constantly on mana recovery potions cus his skills consume ALOT and he used his skills a lot of times during his stay in the village(a whole buncha healing cus a lot of people got maimed and almost died). Shark dude basically imprinted on the MC and treats him like someone he MUST protect. Also Duke isn't as much of a scumbag in the novel, in that he doesn't rape the MC in the novel essentially, all he did was JUST wing touching.

Due to ingame reasons, Game Masters intervened and changed the Duke's answer to MC's "I love you". Duke actually repsonded back with "I love you too" back as well but after MC left him, Duke took it as MC playing around with his feelings and essentially dropping him and the kingdom after getting the answer he wanted. Basically he thought MC was player messing with his feelings lol. If you wanna know why the game masters intervened lemme know. I also wrote more about what happened during the deleted arc in a nother comment so i'll link that one here.

Holy shit thanks for taking the time to write it all down. They fuking skipped a ton lot if plot just to put the yaoi tag. Seems like it’ll b better to read the novel. Can I trouble you to send the link of the novel?

Honestly???? Idek why. I guess it's cus the novel was r15 so higher ups decided or the artist that since the manwha will be r18, to just make some changes to the plot so that MC meets Grand Duke as soon as possible. Cus it took a bunch of chapters till they could finally reunite

Doing that made no sense. Would’ve been so much better if they at least put in some plots. Now it’s just….smut

If i remember correctly, everyone in that department was involved in a scam/fraud, and only hyunsoo refused to participate.
Thus, he became the "weak link" and could potentially jeopardise the people involved, prompting the coworkers to bully him (common corrupt mob rxn)

Though, I may be wrong, 'cause the whole story was yet to be told, only parts of it.
- like he seems to have some personal beef w/pseudo-stalker (sry forgot the right term and the name of the spiky hair)
- i find it a bit out of character of him to not out the whole department IF he was aware of the scam

I'm guessing there will be more because I believe that President Park (or whatever the name was) isn't gonna let Hyunsoo go that easily, at least according to his sister.
