Yeaah...The affair is hard to defend when ML1 isn't really a bad person who adored his beloved. But it's also hard to be against ML2 when his intentions are good and only meant to help improve MC's life.
Depending on the situation, yeah, I'd be nice for a throuple. In the case, I would say without using emotions that MC needs to go back to ML1.
