So ML definitely didn't kill MC's dad right? Plot twist is going to be something like red eyed dude did it and framed ML right? Lolol, that's the drift I'm getting. Only problem is did red eye do it out of jealousy bc ML is his dad's favourite to try and get ML on the ceo/gang dude's bad side?? OR. Did CEO/Gang dude PLAN IT. Himself to trap ML into the gang? Because do far flashbacks show that ML was a pretty soft kid who didn't really want to hurt people let alone kill them. So I'm seriously thinking either red dude framed ML or CEO guy framed him. Either way ML didn't kill MC's dad imo.
Although knowing the story tropes and shit MC will probably believe he did for a bit for that stereotyped misunderstanding tropes!!
Here's hoping MC is smart enough to see the errors in the story quickly! (I.E ML not remembering anything, the red eyed guy, or even maybe prints on the knife since MC saved it for whatever reason)
