I just read chapter 9. I don’t get it. What’s the point of dating all these people and being like your father if you hated him for that? What’s the psychology behind that? His reasoning makes no sense. WHAT IS THIS STORY????

I think the author was referring to the attraction of ones soul, like the idea of being soulmates perhaps... It's not supposed to be something that makes sense because its "fate"? which is a complicated thing. ┗( T﹏T )┛

I mean yeah I get that... but like I said the other dude’s personality hasn’t been very endearing? The only thing he has done is flirt with him and yet he’s already fallen for him? And (spoilers) we find out this dude is actually using him (for reasons that don’t really make sense). So they’re not really doing a convincing job of the “Inner Beauty” part so far. As they are right now I can’t imagine why he would fall for the actor besides physical attraction which hello? That’s your own face right??

I don’t want to bash anyone who enjoys reading this I’m just genuinely baffled at how he just falls in love with this guy so fast. Usually it’s forgivable for the MC to fall for another character for their looks, as long as they develop that character and their relationship beyond that initial infatuation but?? Not only is their relationship barely developed, you can’t say he’s physically attracted to him because, again, that’s his own face!!! I’m all one for bending reality a little bit and the power of love or whatever but that’s too ridiculous don’t you think?

What is with this unnecessary personal attack? They have opinion not a marriage wish. They’re pointing out the obviousness of this story simple makes no sense. You can of course go the route of saying it’s fictional allowance of supsencion of disbelief is very high but if you’d like to ignore the grounds of rationality being used in any way in fictional writing that’s perfectly fine that’s your prerogative. However they’re also allowed to point out that the plot as it is just isn’t my a desirable love story or even relatable one at the very least. The whole he fell in love with “inner beauty” makes no sense. After meeting a man who’s all but screwed over your life in 5 mins of meeting him and insults you to your face, now has your face and still insults you, and have known for a grant told of a day is now the object of an otherwise straigh man in love with a man possessing their face, I repeat their own as i’ll mention repeatedly? That’s enough time for you discover an asshole’s good intentioned “soul” you must hear how ridiculous that sounds right even for a fictional story right? Yeah enjoy that bud.

Just ignore the hate, no need to respond. Everyone was having a respectful sharing of opinions otherwise. Some people are totally loving this story, some are frustrated, baffled or disappointed, and we can just accept that difference. It's normal to think differently.

(Personally, I'm a bit disappointed in this so far and by ch 10 I'm finding it a struggle to read, but mainly just because I can't like the type of characters that act how most of these ones are. I've noticed this before about some other popular stories, too, that others can get into a story where most of the characters are walking all over the MC, but I just find it really depressing to read. It's a strong feeling for me, but others obviously are finding the story enjoyable, so - good for them, even though I don't get it!)

That doppelgänger constantly calls you names, but sometimes flirts with you. You definitely can’t be attracted to their personality, because they treat you like shit, so what does that leave? Their face? Because yes. As shallow as it is people fall for other people
