by reading from episode 1-9 i think that the brown hair dude won't be that affected cuzz if ya think about it he always rumbles about his new crush those kinds of people are the types thought its true love then only ends up as a puppy

Totally agree with you... All characters have flaws here and it's great because it's at least realistic.. All characters have to sort out there personal issues first before starting to love..
