the genres are selected by the biological genitalia so... even if it is the soul of a boy in the body of a girl, it doesnt make it shounen ai, the same happens when a girl is in the body of a boy (being for soul transfer or because they are transgenders) if they are paired up with a man then it's shounen ai, even though he is a girl at heart or soul... so to sum it up only the genitalia decides. And in this case gender bender applies because he is now a girl dressing up as a man, not because he turned into a girl
