I will never understand how characters will kidnap, rape, abuse, torture someone they loved, even adored because of a fuckin misunderstanding. If you loved him that much shouldn't you think "he would never do that" !?? Even if you have trust issues, if you REALLY loved him, you'd have AT LEAST talked it out or try to be sure that he did what he did. But they don't even doubt it and since they are fucked up their 1st reaction is confinement and rape. It's so freakin unrealistic and dumb c'mon authors yall can do better
