Bro the current artsyle is so wack and fugly but it's also so fucking funny, I kid u not man. The only reason I'm really staying is bc of the shenanigans these guys get the MC into. God damn I can't face the artstyle man I've been speed reading through it （/TДT)/
The artsyle isn't ground breaking nor is the plot anything unique, but I live how the story is being executed, it's genuinely just a guy living hid best life as a girl and I'm all for it. He(?) She(?) Is not a Mary(?) Gary(?) Sue either, at least I don't think he is, he's just using the stored knowledge he has and if possible, would try to learn more even if the information is super "outdated" compared to the information of the modern world he is used to. Other than the praises, I would understand why some people may find it boring to read through, screen tones are rarely used, there are no usual shojou effects either, and sentences drag on, and on. However, I think I like the foreign feel it has and that the kids look like kids lol.
The MC is a really fun character, he really is just living his best life, and even tho he (as a man) Is girly inside, he doesn't immediately act girly, he's still very boyish and I find the charm in that. Yes he is aware that he's a girl now, and yes he is diligent with her noblewoman studies, but she still upholds that man in him. The current them now and their relationship with the Prince is super fun to watch. You don't know how happy I am to know that there aren't perverted undertones in this story(づ￣ ³￣)づ
I see some people out here hating on characters and I get that, I felt a bit pissy too, I got frustrated over ALL of the characters but I liked it, cause it felt human. I know most people don't read for realism, and most of the time, I don't too, especially when it comes to couples we wanna see the sweet, lovey Dovey, no problems all green sort of relationship, but I liked this one cause it didn't feel like that. Like I said, it felt real, it felt like I was actually seeing a real couple come through and change in either little or big ways. Because relationships are like that, you will either change each other for the worst or for the better.
The main couples relationship started off rocky, and throughout the whole story it still is, but then it's rocky because they're going through their own bs and business that would eventually affect their relationship, they gained a much deeper understanding of each other. The MC is especially empathetic and sympathetic, that's why the people around him are attracted to him platoniclly and romantically.
I think the main couple is already perfect as is. They compliment each other perfectly, Sayama doesn't know how to portray his emotions properly and Saikama(?) Is very affectionate and acts the way he does because it's the first time he's actually fallen in love. It is a learning curve for the both of them.
I get that people want Teru to be with Sayama, but you also have to understand that Teru doesn't have the backbone that Saikama(?) Has. The 2 of them feel very natural as friends, even w/o the one-sided love bs, Teru felt like a natural friend for Sayama, I could imagine them being best friends even b4 Sayama got with the ML, I could even imagine the 2 of them together and I can tell that, that relationship won't last long. All 4 characters introduced so far has the same theme going on and that is being put on a societal label and having no means of getting out of it. Unlike the other 2, Teru and Sayama were put on the negative societal label, Teru will not give the same impact the Ml did to Sayama. Let's all. Circle back and remember that Sayama was only able to empower Teru bc of the encouragement, and support given to him by the ML.
I'm not saying they're (sayama and Teru) not good together, with a different plot they might go well together. But with the current plot, that won't happen.
I'm not overly in love with this story but I did like it enough because there was a bit of depth in the characters. (●'◡'●)ﾉ

Every time I read a chapter I just go "you a victim!" he's getting used to it and it ain't right, our guy isn't dumb originally, he got abused towards idiocy. And with how this story is going, he won't be able to save himself, cause anyone who tries to save him will fucking die, and he'll just get abused all over againΣ( ￣□￣||)
You need to turn off your brain for this.
Also, idk if it's just me but Mc looks more dead in the side story ToT

I will believe what I want to believe, they are under a spell and that is final unless proven otherwise. If it was proven otherwise, I will lose it and will be fighting someone, the author specifically.
I cried the past hour reading through this, I was a literal mess reading through this story. There were really big parts of this story that hit too close to home and while reading through this gut-wrenching part I started thinking and saying "Be happy for me."
I love the growths that they went through and I even liked Taguchi's growth too even though it was only laid out in the extras #internalisedhomophobia. I love that the first season we had Kami-san's story and the deep-rooted trauma that affected him greatly, especially in his confidence and how he sees himself. Then we had Waka-san's story next, showing the root of his inability to taste and also sorting out his mommy issues — his mother's character development was OK too, in realizing and accepting her wrongs and flaws as Waka-san's mother. I love them.
This author wrote something incredible, I'm thankful they put it out for the world to see. Thank you to the uploader and the scanning team for sharing the authors creation. ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~
