PEAK pathetic blond puppy seme...

Ι-- well it depends... Aot is much more detailed and has crazy foreshadowing but one piece is more my taste. Thankfully it's getting remade with better pacing. If I didn't watch it whole in 2 months when my life was falling apart I wouldn't have had the attention span But One Piece also dwells into serious issues and pays attention to detail. Definitely not biased cause my favourite character who I also have tattooed on my thigh (and appears in 4 out of 1100 chapters) is in it.

that's fair! there were just ppl bashing aot for no reason on a tiktok video and it PMO so bad aot is a masterclass in foreshadowing and always using chekhov's gun. the characters are so real and the world is batshit. from what ive seen I don't think one piece be my cup of tea, so im not missing out on much I reckon
idc if I sound like a hater but nagi/reo is so…boring…it feels forced. also the fact that nagi deluded himself into thinking he "beat" isagi w his one goal that he hasn't been able to reproduce in a game he lost to bastard munchen. terminal dropped by isagi sickness
"how can I fire myself up like reo" bro ur looking at the wrong ukethis is what not playing with isagi does to a mf
THIS RIGHT HERE YAS!!!!
Go read episode nagi
The way Nagi doesn't give a single fuck about isagi I think need y'all to actually stop talking about Nagi when y'all don't understand him or his goals and ideals, it's quite literally canon that he would have left blue lock if Reo was kicked out, he doesn't only play soccer cuz he likes it, he plays it because he wants to play WITH Reo, he wants to win with Reo and he wants to improve FOR Reo.
I agree I found the scene quite forced too, even if I get his dream is winning with Reo, Idk I wanted both Nagi Reo to be less dependant of each other, like here Reo was strong by himself it was satisfying
I want to see them be more EGOIST
╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
he literally says in one of the recent chapters how he "beat isagi", which is something he's been obsessing over for over 100 chapters, and how he doesn't know where to go from here. wdym he doesn't gaf about isagi
EXACTLY in the pxg/bastard munchen game the players were talking about how playing with isagi brings out their egos and makes them want to be the best, while also making the strive to best him at his own game. it's clear that nagi is suffering from not having isagi set his goal post anymore- for all that the manga states that nagi plays for reo it's clear that this isn't enough to fuel his growth. he needs isagi, just like that first time when he formed a three person team with isagi in the second phase
I did and guess what, it's so obvious that reo was a stepping point for nagi to meet isagi, who actually made him want to be better. sucks to suck bruv
Isagi was always on Nagi's mind throughout the entire thing though of course after meeting him.
Tell me you don't understand Nagi as a character without telling me. If Reo stopped playing soccer Nagi would stop too without a second thought the whole point of Nagi and reo as characters is that they're a pair
Yeah he wanted to beat him at best isagi is a rival to Nagi and at worst an acquaintance ... I genuinely don't get how y'all read this manga and episode nagi that show time and time again that Nagi only has one thing in mind, Reo and think yeah he should totally leave Reo and form a duo with Isagi even though it makes zero sense for his character or what the author is trying to tell with his character. He only ever joined isagi because he know isagi is good at soccer and he wanted to get better at soccer FOR Reo and their dream *together*, reo is the whole reason he ever started playing soccer in the first place and its canon he would have left blue lock if Reo was kicked out but yeah sure Isagi is more important, y'all need to stop putting your own biases towards Isagi on Nagi.
I've never encountered a more illiterate fans as blue lock fans, it's tough out her
Goodness it's quite sad to talk about yourself so blatantly like that.....don't worry we will save you from your internal suffering.... (/TДT)/
see I don't necessarily disagree I just think that it's very forced and not very compelling, unlike what nagi feels towards isagi
How is it forced??? Nagi thinks of Reo 24/7 since the start, the whole point of how we saw his and isagi relationship is that it was a misunderstanding because we didn't see it from Nagi perspective when we did we saw man doesn't care at all about isagi and just kinda saw him as a way to get stronger and then as a obstacle
Notice how you didn't show any proof of me being wrong because literally all i said is canon unlike what you said. It's okay i know y'all want every single character to be obsessed with isagi and glaze him because y'all self insert as him too bad
whatever u say lil bro
Silence her up. I swear these weirdo
i applaud you for arguing with them because my goodness they misinterpret nagi / reo so badly..
It's hard being a Nagi fan who actually understand Nagi and Reo relationship and what the narrative (including yesterday's leaks) is heading to like yes they are meant to learn to be independent that doesn't mean they need to stop being a pair.
Listen, we though it was forced bc in the main story we don't have a lot Nagi pov, so it felt weird to me and some people. But yes in episode Nagi we see very well that he always thinks of Reo. It's just that in the main story we don't see him that way.
And yes personally I enjoy Nagi and Isagi dynamic, bc Isagi awake his passion and ego which is the goal of blue lock, but I know Nagi's dream is to win with Reo.
I love both Reo and Nagi and this is why I wanted them to be stronger on their own, and they'll do it to win together bc it's their dream.
I'm not fan of NagiReo duo but I know they're canon, I just love them individually, even if I know they want to stay together.
And even if it's not a canon duo, I prefer Nagi with Isagi. Here it's more a matter of preference than interpretation of the story. We can understand the character writing AND still enjoying smth different.
Well no Isagi doesn't awaken Nagi's ego because we don't what his ego is the only panel about his ego we have is something that is not from his pov or something he says Nagi has yet to discover his Ego not re find it
Well that's not how I see it, imo he started to find soccer fun, feeling frustated after he lost against Isagi and that was an occasion to awake his ego. He didn't fully find his ego yet but we see him developing it little by little in many panel, when he wants to challenge himself, become stronger, want to goal by himself. Isagi was the person who awake smth in him, and that thing will lead to his ego. Nothing would have changed if he didn't meet Isagi
That doesn't invalidate that Reo is his partner but we can't act as if Isagi didn't have impact on him, and we can't say he doesn't have any ego yet
But well we'll probably don't agree and it's meaningless to continue this debate
You have your opinion I have mine, but it's just annoying to be told as if we don't get the story just bc we don't interpret some thing the same way or notice the same things
There are canon event yes, but there are part where the leader interpret things too and we can't all feel the same way so let's just enjoy blue lock and stop here
Isagi has an impact on him just not something that will help him become a better player because even when he was with Isagi he still didn't play for himself. He still always played for Reo, which is why what he needs is not Isagi but to actually stop depending on Reo
I agree that he needs to stop depending on Reo to really awaken but it's exactly why Isagi was the person who helped him change, since it's after losing to him he wanted to change and be stronger bc he noticed he wouldn't win if he stayed the same as before with Reo.
It was the first turning point for Nagi and Reo we can't deny that
It's not a matter of who he needs I'm not even talking about thatI'm saying the impact Isagi had on him clearly has an effect on his ego and feelings towards soccer
If he needs Isagi to find soccer fun then he has not found his own individualism he needs to find it fun on his own
It's not about who he needed, it's about how someone had impact on him gosh
You're just interpreting my words in the wrong way/the way you want
Isagi was the person to give him the first push, it's after losing against him he said soccer was fun
Idk why it's so hard to accept that when it literally happened in the manga ???
I'm talking about how meeting one person made another person realize smth
You're literally saying they need to be a duo again?? Tf
You were saying*
Obviously he needs to find it fun by himself, it's the whole point, here I'm saying how Isagi had a first impact on him, which will def lead him to his ego
You're just not reading what I said.....
I said I miss their duo, it's not the same thing ???? Missing some chara dynamic and understanding the writing of these said character are not opposite
I completely disagree with this, i do think Isagi somehow will be one of the things that lead to his ego but Nagi has always been playing for Reo, when playing with Isagi he was playing to win with Reo. It's always about Reo this Reo that. I think his arc as a character later on is that he will find his own individualism but still play as a duo with Reo
I said Isagi gave him the first push, I didn't say it was just all he needed to fully find his ego, I didn't say he stopped caring for Reo when he was playing with Isagi
I said he was the first push/ occasion for Nagi to deciding to change
And I agree with what you're saying here, what you said isn't even contradictory to what I said
