I somehow doubt they wanted to make it serious. More like dark humor. Because the writing is the same, not just the drawings. I feel like the art is quite in sync with the story. Though I agree that the subject they're dealing with is very serious on its own.
But if it were dark humor the author would probably add a comedy tag ?
Yeah the writing is so dramatic just like their reactions but anyway will never know that was the aim of the author to make the story this way
Idk. If you read the comic on Lezhin, there's just one tag - BL | R. And it's the same with all comic there (unfortunately). So I feel like it's the uploaders who decide on categories here on Mangago based on what they've seen. Well, either if the author meant this as a comedy or not, I'll be reading it as such (￣∇￣")
