ah? since yall talking about the sex roles and forgetting the damned story here's a summery, mc which is the blonde likes his friend but for some reason does not tell , the friend likes his girlfriend so much until he figures the mc's true feelings, in his confusion his self centered gf lets go of him, and the mc keeps an act when he dates girls for short times and gets dumped cuz he has eyes only for his friend thus such relationships r air thin, the friend sees how the mc is clinging to him with dear life he stays close to him, years later they r still in this chaotic situation but when the friend senses the littlest bit of distance he jumps him in a sort of desperate sex night to find that this whole game they were playing is paying no winners all cuz the mc has this reason of not admitting his feelings cuz he sees him self not worthy nuff for the friend....
one last thing, it was obvious who's who in bed, it's a thing for japanese writers to put the bottoming adventure experience for the less confidence character as a form of literature rebellion upon the strict rules of the japanese society, here take it as a tip to figure out the uke next time, don't apply it to real life as it's just a sort of literature device at this point
i sry like how the uke's character is one that wants care and warmness , all we saw at the start is a bit of it but at the end it was represented and emphasized >< just cuteee
writing a character as emotional and empathetic like the uke here is not of simple cheating , the author obviously tried to keep his absurd relation to the younger seme throughout the story as to show us how he strongly wants to find that person to be loved by and emphasize his monologue at the start when he stated that there is no way his relationship with the one he loved can work... in other words, these two relationship is a literature approach to one deepest and most believed feelings that should not be compared to reality...
i like how clear it is to see the hetero guy struggle with such point in his life and how he did not just give up simply... and it was just one thing to figure out the younger seme character that i don't know why the others r not seeing it, he also was hurt before cuz of his sexuality so it's invitable that he can understand the mc...
i like how the characters develop with each other and yet they still have their original traits, like how one is selfish and the other is protective of him self... also i really need to know more about the second couple, the mama got angry at some point which means he's not fully agreeing on how his partner is acting >< so much feelings can be writing by such ironic yet honest character...
someone protect the little seme , lol... i like their dynamics...
