it kills me how much i relate to his narration, of constantly comparing yourself to your partner and getting jealous of what they do for others. you know the thinking is toxic so you bottle it bcs you don't want your partner to see your ugly parts. you love them and you know how great they are, which is also the reason why you kind of feel inferioir in comparison. this mindset is one of my reasons why i can't ever start dating (zero love life and im reaching 2 decades)
but i hope they someday move pass that and communicate more properly. i feel the ending to me was cut short, cuz there could've been sm more they could tackle moving on with their relationship. but i guess this is what makes the mahwa realistic? would've loved to read more tho

i was ngl kind of worried that this would head to a direction where arisnoe would marry the merchant, but ofc this story exceeded my expectations yet again. such beautiful story telling between arisnoe's brief yet touching friendship with the merchant. they both might not be what they were looking for, but they were both what they needed at those timely moments (the merchant getting money, and arisnoe getting friendship/companionship and advice). i love how two people of such vast backgrounds and status could simply just chat and enjoy each other's company. while the path is long, i hope arisnoe finds her fitting conclusion (whether it'd be getting married or remaining as a matriarch). this is one of thos manhwas i don't want to end because each side story/character has such beautiful messages to tell
the old attack was so fatal, it took him more than 300 chapters to heal!! and considering, that he healed even "faster" cuz he was on cat form, what more if he never turned to a cat!!
cat kayden supremacy!
