(possible spoiler) i think it wasn't really jealousy towards the ml that made him divorce, but the toxicity in his mental state that must've eventually affected his kid and ml's mom. I'm guessing he started comparing himself to his kid and might've just projected himself, and it just so happened in that moment that all his bottled feelings were unleashed. it was the wrong timing of everything. in modern day situation, it would be great if he could seek a therapist (if he didn't want burdening his wife with his thoughts), and seeked a healthier mechanism to cope with negative thoughts (although, easier said than done)

there were a lot of freaky makeouts/seggs in the novel to the point i wonder if the illustrator will draw it BUT THIS IS THE TURNING POINT GUYS! ml will become more possessive/clingy, and he'll be the supportive boyfie as more issues pop out! disclaimer, not saying he'll not be a red flag, but he'll show green flag points only to the mc

i love the build up angst and suspense it took to have this organic wholesome fluff moment. i like the fact that their chemistry is so off the charts you can feel the love they have for each other without one of them explicitly saying "ily", despite the fact it's not been too long they were just in the friendzone. them getting together just felt so natural that even mc said that being with Rishtar and his physical touches felt something like they have been doing for 5 months or more ~
it's no secret they love each other for a looong time! it's only recently that they're acting on the emotion that's why it felt so natural
