So the leaders of the liberation army gets beaten in a smack down, and the logical thing is to give Shigeraki complete control because...? I'm honestly opened to answers, because I'm scratching my head on this one.
Please explain. I thought the point of this battle was a battle of ideologies. Re-Destro wants the liberation of use on quirks while Shigeraki wants the fall of society, though he puts it under the guise of Stein's ideals. Now if I followed someone based on my ideologies and then my leader switched and said we need to follow this guy, I'm going to expect that my new leader is going to follow these new ideologies.
1. I was not expecting Re-Destro to just give up his ideologies because of a power difference.
2. While I love the idea of mob mentality, there was no real transition for Shigeraki's new followers to actually accept him.
3. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

I'm surprisingly really okay with them not getting together. Harada is an exceptional writer. I think showing the readers that not every stalker/abusive love story has to end up with the uke having some kind of Stockholm syndrome is super refreshing. Honestly I think it would be hilarious if the two kept a warped friendship, but Sho never feels inclined to dating.
