i thought sooo, this my first time reading a novel before a manhwa and i just can’t help but notice the smallest details that are different or just aren’t included. it really bothers me bc i notice it straight away. (i probably remember the details well since i’ve reread TCF wayyy to many times lmao)
i do not like any characters in this manga- ran is just absolutely clueless and plain stupid. she does not think her actions or words through before doing or saying them. and it may be because she was sheltered and basically chose not to learn anything else and it may also be the fault of her grandfather for not teaching her common sense or really anything abt the outside world, but i still cannot fathom a single fibre of my being to like her in the tiniest bit.
i do not like the ML because he lowkey treats those around him like garbage and i have tolerated it thinking that he might get development but there’s really no change, not only that but he has some serioussss communication issues. ran is a straightforward idiot so what she’s saying may not always be what she actually means- (“something a man and woman would only do” she dod not think this fucking through when saying that shit smhhhh). but him on the other hand is just a terrible communicator.
the mc’s family- omfg don’t get me started. this whole family is in literal shambles and they’re all fucking disgusting.

No. She does not get raped she was threatened to get raped and her face getting ruined. However originally it was supposed to be like that however the author completely changed it so it doesn't really happen. Even though the chances of it not happening in the manhwa is 90% I still feel uncomfortable asf knowing it was supposed to happen.

I am not sure but I do know her so called "knight" abandoned her and she got kidnapped. He saved the one he fell in love with the "real" heroine or whatever but either way our ML saves in her in the end! Glad they changed it would've been unpleasant if it was to follow the original plot ew

I haven't read it myself but someone explained that when she got kidnapped, the kidnappers threatened to rape and disfigure The Female Lead.
So basically she was threatened to be raped, but she was not raped.
Sorry for the late reply. No in the novel they changed it because people felt disgusted. Honestly don't blame. The author replaced it with what I said about being only threatened. If nobody told the author off the would've took that disgusting route. Luckily it stopped before hand
